Surface Hub 2S / 2X
Surface Hub 2S will be delivered in the second quarter of 2019, followed by Surface Hub 2X in 2020. The new Surface Hub 2 is lighter, sleeker, and more intuitive than its predecessor. It will be equipped with a removable processor cartridge, in an easily accessible hardware chassis on the back. This processor cartridge can be removed, upgraded and serviced over time.
Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for the 6th time!
For the last 365 days, my life has been like a roller coaster. That's why I'm all the more pleased to have been awarded as Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in the Office Servers and Services (better known as Office 365) category for the sixth year in a row.
Last year I had the opportunity to gain a lot of great experiences in the Microsoft community, to speak at conferences and to organize various events. This spring I attended the MVP Global Summit in Redmond for the third time and made many new acquaintances. Last autumn I started my studies with the Master of Science in Business Administration, which also changed my professional focus a little. I have redefined the terms Modern Workplace and Digital Transformation for myself and see it as my mission to support companies on their way to a integrated understanding of modern collaboration, leadership and technologies.
Cloud Workplace Meetup 1/2018 Recap
Despite thunderstorms and pouring rain, over 30 people found their way to the first Cloud Workplace Meetup, which took place in Bern on June 8, 2018!
Hendrik Terhar, the Business Group Lead Microsoft 365, from Microsoft Switzerland, presented the Microsoft 365 vision and showed how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used to empower employees and make information profitable.
In the second part, Reto Metzler, responsible for internal IT at isolutions ag, introduced cloud-based deployment using Windows AutoPilot. A central element here is zero touch deployment, which can be used to assign a device to a user at the time of ordering. When the device is started for the first time, it is reset to the factory settings of Microsoft, the software is distributed and the policies are applied. The device is ready for use within minutes and has all user-specific settings.
